The Klein Karoo is a semi-arid desert situated in the interior of the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. The endless plains of red earth will make you feel as though you are indeed just a very small person in a very big world. Although there may seem to be very little sign of life in this desert, it supports the largest ecosystem in South Africa.
