East London is situated on the Buffalo River and sports the only river port in South Africa. Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape of South Africa and is home to Rhodes University. It has a turbulent past in the middle of frontier country and has more forts than the rest of the country combined. The Klein Karoo is a semi-arid desert situated in the interior of the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. The endless plains of red earth will make you feel as though you are indeed just a very small person in a very big world. The Karoo supports the largest sheep farming community and produces the best lamb available on the market.
