East London, or ‘Slummies’ as it’s affectionately known is anything but a slum. Take in the sunset at the marina or a walk on the many beaches and you’ll be struck by both the natural beauty of the area and the friendlyness of the people. Go to a seaside pub and you’ll immediately be drawn into a group of laughing locals.

And you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to accommodation. You can stay at a five star resort or you can hire a beachside bungalow, the choice is yours. Myself, I’d go for a Bed and Breakfast, the owners are alays friendly and the food is always good.
